Mud Lab in SADA

Our stakeholder Rawabi Holding Group collaborates with Saudi Arabian Drilling Academy (SADA) to build state-of-the-art Drilling Fluids Lab with the support of Noaf AlTurki SADA BOT member. The objective of this project is to develop a unique laboratory within SADA. This center is to support SADA’s training programs through focused laboratory analysis, evaluation, modeling, and applied research in related sciences and engineering. The ultimate objective is to train and develop Saudi youth to support 2030 vision. To date, development of the mud lab is in a very preliminary stage. Work has included planning and decommissioning of old building space. The overall benefit of this laboratory will be to extend the basic understanding of drilling fluids and methods may be applied by industry in this complex process.
